1.What is meant by bioavailablity?
Amount of a substance that becomes available as it is (reaches the target organ or systemic circulation without itself undergoing any metabolic change) to an organism's body for bioactivity when introduced through ingestion, inhalation, injection, or skin contact.
2.Can we not use natural turmeric instead of BCM95 for a specific purpose?
Curcumin from the natural turmeric doesnot reach the target tissue in the required amount as it contains a very low amount of curcumin to the extent of 2-3%. Curcumin with turmeric based essential oil in the particular ratio maintained in BCM 95 makes it most potent and bioavaiilablity the maximum. Hence for a specific purpose BCM95 is the best and safe instead of turmeric
3.Is there any other product equivalent to BCM95?
No other product is as good as or as effective as BCM95.All claims on the bioavailablity of curcumin is misleading because the curcumin is analysed in the metabolites in plasma and not the free, unchanged curcumin available in the plasma.
4.Why do people take Curcumin?
Curcumin helps to reduce inflammation and many studies suggest that it might ease symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, like pain and inflammation.Laboratory studies shows that curcumin blocks the growth of certain kinds of tumors.
